We're just built to be better. We are a great company. We are seeking an **Air Compliance Consultant (CS Compliance Analyst 2)** to join our team! This position is remote and can work from anywhere in the US. Come join us! **Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:** The ideal candidate would provide support to clients in meeting federal, state, and local environmental rules and regulations specific to air pollution and air quality including the following: - Advising and assisting clients in determining the applicability of air pollution rules and regulations and obtaining or renewing necessary permits or registrations. - Completing air emissions calculations for clients from regulated sources. - Advising and assisting clients in meeting air compliance obligations such as developing compliance schedules, monthly and annual tracking of throughput, hours of operation, fuel usage, operational standards, emissions reporting, and recordkeeping. - Developing and presenting compliant solutions that enhance business operations, continuity, and growth. - Advising and assisting clients in meeting refrigerant management requirements at the federal and state level. - Training clients and employees in air pollution control requirements. - Performing regulatory compliance audits to review client operations to ensure they adhere to all relevant environmental laws and regulations. - Conducting client and project management activities including proposal writing, cost estimation, oversight, invoicing, etc. **Minimum requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental studies, ecological sciences, or another related technical field. - At least 5 years of practical experience with air pollution control programs, especially related to air permitting. - At least 1 year of project management experience. **Technical requirements:** - Experience with air pollution control regulatory programs. - Proficient in regulatory research and interpretation. - Good organizational skills and attention to detail. - Knowledge of basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions). - Knowledge of basic chemical/physical science parameters including but not limited to flash point, boiling point, pH, solubility, and density. - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment. - Skilled at effectively communicating complex information to clients and stakeholders in a meaningful and accurate way. - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - High degree of personal accountability for work quality. - Knowledge and/or experience with other environmental regulatory programs (e.g., stormwater, wastewater, SPCC, and waste generator requirements) is preferred, but not required. * Air dispersion modeling experience preferred, but not required. **Other miscellaneous qualities:** - Ability to travel up to 30% of the time. - Must maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. - Ability to obtain EPA Method 9 (Visual Opacity) Certification. **Benefits:** Atlas offers a comprehensive benefit program to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
