Responsibilities:

• Provide applicable physical therapy care for patients under supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Clean and prepare treatment areas and equipment.
• Implement treatment programs directed by a Licensed Physical Therapist, communicate updates clearly, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain open and positive communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Effective team member with strong organizational skills.
• Active listening and comprehension skills.
• Effective time management and planning abilities.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of Physical Therapist Assistant or Physical Therapist education program accredited by CAPTE.
• License to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
• At least 6 months of Physical Therapy Assistant experience.
• Active CPR Certification.
